Many patients wonder if the medications they are on truly support their body's metabolic function in terms of optimal body function and medication clearance. With this medication review, each medication being taken is explored to research functions, side effects, symptoms, and interactions. Recommendations for supplements will be made in order to support your body for optimal function while taking the medications. A detailed report will be provided to include all of the above as well as an explanation of supplements recommended and directions for use of those supplements. The appointment is 30 minutes long and costs $75. Follow up appointments are once a month and cost $45. Follow up appointments are important to ensure your body appropriately responds to supplementation and medications don't have to be altered by physicians.

Trying to regain optimal health is more than just dieting and losing weight. It's journaling daily intake of food and liquids, supporting your body with appropriate supplementation, movement, sleep, and accountability. In order for your body to regain health we have to assess and reset your metabolic functions.

During a nutritional review, we review your current diet, exercise, water intake, medications and supplements. You are then provided with a treatment plan of recommendations for diet, exercise, and possible supplements as well as recipes and meal ideas. You will be required to journal your daily intake each day of food, water, movement and sleep. The jaw bone is an excellent way to do so, and is a valuable asset for assessing how quality of sleep is affected by certain food intake as well as water intake. Poor sleep is related to a decreased metabolic function which affects your body's ability to lose weight. A 20 minute consultation is scheduled to go over your current history and pertinent information. The initial appointment is 60 minutes and costs $155. You will be provided with your report and plan. Follow up appointments to assess progress are every 2 weeks and cost $50.

Have you ever been sent for blood work by your primary care physician and told the results were normal? Have you ever wondered what is normal and what the blood work actually means? During a blood work review and evaluation we do a consultation to determine your present and past history as well as current symptoms. The appropriate blood work is then determined for each individual.

Upon receipt of the blood work, blood work indicators are reviewed and evaluated according to optimal high and low levels, not just the lab ranges. These optimal ranges are where the body functions at its best. A detailed report explaining the possible causes for the altered levels will be provided, as well as recommendations for treatment involving possible supplements and nutritional changes to help support body function and improve altered blood levels. The consultation is 15 minutes. The initial appointment is 60 minutes and costs $150. Follow up visits are every 2 weeks and cost $75. The patient will be sent for follow up blood work 4 months from the date of the first blood work.

Functional Medicine Doctors identify the underlying biochemical and physiological glitches to achieving optimal health. Looking at the different biochemical processes in each individual, Functional Medicine Doctors strive to restore physiological function while causing no harm to the patient. The benefits of functional medicine include optimal aging, not just anti-aging, reduced medical costs, early detection of disease and dysfunction, reduced pain and suffering, and a greater enjoyable life.

Functional Medicine is a personalized, systems-oriented model that empowers patients and practitioners to achieve the highest expression of health by working in collaboration to address the underlying cause of disease. A review in functional medicine is a commitment. Before an initial exam is scheduled, a detailed health history form must be completed along with retrieving all pertinent medical records and brought to the office for review. Once received, the initial appointment is scheduled one week from that date. At the initial exam, you will receive recommendations for further testing, supplements, and dietary changes. The initial exam is 60 minutes and costs $220. Once the test results are obtained, a follow up appointment is scheduled a week from that date. During the report of findings, an additional report will be provided explaining the test results as well as a treatment plan and any additional supplements and dietary changes if necessary. The report of findings is 60 minutes and costs $105. Follow up appointments are every 2 weeks, are 30 minutes and cost $75.
